HI! I'M JUANA!

Juana Hollingsworth received her bachelor's and master's degrees in Social Work with an emphasis in trauma-informed care from the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Higher Education Administration program at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. Her research primarily focuses on exploring the experiences of Black Women in the academy. In addition, she also explores the prevalence of online harassment in higher education. Juana has over ten years of education experience working in both K-12 and Higher Education settings. Presently, she works as a Senior Academic Advisor at Johns Hopkins University. Through her work in education, Juana has developed a deep passion for diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice facilitating over 30 workshops and trainings thus far in her career.
